① "Yarn count", in short, refers to the fineness of yarn. At present, China still uses the "British system", that is, a pound (454g) of cotton yarn (or other component yarn). When the length is 840 yards (0.9144 yards/meter), the fineness of yarn is one. If a pound of yarn, its length is 10 × 840 yards, its fineness is 10, and so on. (To be precise, it refers to the number of pieces in one gram of weight.)
② Expression of yarn count
The symbol of the English system is the English letter "S"
The expression method of single yarn is: 32 single yarns ------ 32S
The representation method of strand is: 32 strands (two strands twisted in parallel) are 32S/2, and 42 strands of three strands twisted in parallel are 42S/3.
The higher the count, the finer the thread, the higher the quality requirements for raw materials. For example, suppose that a kilogram of wool (or cotton) can be spun for 40 meters. If you want to spin to 80 meters, the thread will only be thinner. If the quality of raw materials is not good, it will be easier to break, and it will not be so fine
③ The first number on the Chinese trademark indicates the raw material of wool.
For example, "1" means domestic wool;
"2" means imported wool;
"3" means imported wool and viscose blended;
"4" means new products;
"5" means domestic wool and viscose blended;
"6" means that the imported wool is blended with acrylic fiber;
"7" indicates that domestic wool is acrylic blended;
"8" means pure fiber;
The last two digits on the trademark indicate the yarn branch of the wool. The larger the number of yarn threads, the thinner the yarn. For example, 24 threads are thinner than 13 threads. For example, if the number of wool trademark is "213", it means that it is imported wool with 13 branches,
"124" refers to 24 branch lines of domestic wool, and so on.

④ Relationship between yarn count and thickness
28/2 pieces, the most common one. Generally, 2~3 strands can be woven by hand, and 3 strands are equivalent to the thickness of fine wool;
48/2 strands, 2 strands equivalent to 28/2 strands, all of which are worsted cashmere;
60/2 strands, 3 strands equivalent to 28/2 strands, all of which are worsted cashmere;
80/3 strands, 2 strands equivalent to 28/2 strands, all of which are worsted cashmere.
⑤ Line quantity reference:
Generally, 28/2 pieces of 2-ply woven women's clothing is half catty (250g), and men's clothing is 6-7 liang (300-350g);
For three strands, women's clothing is 7~9 liang (350g~450g) and men's clothing is 9 liang~1. 1 (450g~550g) jin.
If the fineness of worsted cashmere is the same as that of 28 pieces, the amount of worsted cashmere is also the same, so it should be slightly more estimated
