Today marks Lìqiū (立秋) - the Start of Autumn on the traditional Chinese calendar. In modern Chinese culture, the day carries a sweet little ritual: the "first cup of milk tea of autumn" (秋天的第一杯奶茶). It's a small, warm way to welcome the season and show the people you care about that you're thinking of them.
"A yarn factory runs on machines, but it's built by people. If the team is happy, the yarn is good. That's always been the LENUO way."
Behind Every Spool, a Team
Founded in 2007, LENUO has grown into one of China's leading yarn manufacturers, with in-house slivering, spinning, and dyeing houses, 5,000 spindles, and an annual output of more than 2,000 tons of acrylic, polyester, cotton, wool, blends, and fancy yarns. Our products travel to distributors and chain stores across Australia, Germany, Japan, the United States, and beyond.
But the numbers don't tell the whole story. The culture does. A gesture like today's reminds us that behind every cone of OEKO-TEX-certified yarn is a group of people who show up, care, and take pride in their work.
Into the Cozy Season
As autumn arrives, so does peak season for sweaters, blankets, and all things cozy. The milk-tea break was a small recharge - and our team is heading into the busy season energized and ready.
One cup of milk tea won't make the yarn softer. But it's a reminder of why we do what we do: great yarn, made by a team that actually likes working together.
