What Is The Difference Between Polyester Fiber And Milk Cotton Yarn?

Polyester fiber is a synthetic fiber spun from polyester polycondensated from organic dicarboxylic acid and diol. It is firm and durable, wrinkle resistant and iron free. It has the characteristics of shading, light transmission, ventilation, heat insulation, and ultraviolet protection. However, it has poor air permeability, poor moisture absorption, weak water absorption, poor melting resistance, and is easy to absorb dust. Polyester fiber is acid resistant. Neutral or acid detergents should be used when cleaning. Alkaline detergents will accelerate the aging of fabrics.

Milk cotton yarn, also known as milk silk, is a kind of textile material, belonging to the animal and plant protein fiber series. It is the milk protein obtained by degreasing and dewatering liquid milk, added with softener, to make milk slurry, and then through wet spinning process and scientific treatment, it is spun into milk egg white fiber, and then processed into milk silk through wet spinning process and technology.

The special properties of milk protein fiber show real, magnificent and lasting colors in fabrics and clothing. As long as the fabric is washed under appropriate conditions, even after repeated washing, the color of the fabric can still be as bright as new. What's more, milk protein fiber is not as easy to be eaten or aged as other animal protein fibers, such as wool and silk. It can keep bright color even after several years of storage, so it is more durable, washable and easy to store.
