What is the recycled cotton?

Recycled cotton fabrics are woven from recycled cotton fibers, which belong to the recycled series.

GRS is the Global Recycling Standard, or GRS Certification for short, which is an international, voluntary, and complete product standard. The content is aimed at supply chain manufacturers' enforcement of product recycling/recycled content, chain of custody control, social responsibility and environmental norms, and chemical restrictions, and is certified by a third-party certification body. With the deterioration of the environment and the shortage of resources, the country and the government have become more and more aware of the importance of the environment, recycling and reuse. And GRS certification is specified for the needs of the textile industry, to check recycled products or some specific products, and more importantly, to let retailers and consumers know which parts of a specific product are recycled materials, and how to deal with these in the supply chain. Material.

Recycled cotton is a regenerated fiber certified by GRS. It is regenerated before sale, and the noil generated during the process of cotton processing yarn is recycled and reused. Because the quality of the noil is not good, the recycled cotton is blended with ordinary cotton or other fibers. The ratio of recycled cotton in ring spinning can account for up to 50%, and air spinning can achieve 60%.

Advantages of recycled cotton fabrics:

1. Soft touch, breathable, good moisture absorption and sweat absorption

2. Good dyeability, high color fastness, soft luster and natural beauty.

3. Recyclable and environmentally friendly recycled fiber.
