Due to the transfer of twist, the single yarn whiskers have a small amount of twist. After splicing, they are further twisted into a yarn similar to the plied yarn, which is wound on the bobbin.
To put it simply, two rovings are spun into a single yarn. Such yarn has the property of ply yarn and less hairiness. It was originally used for wool spinning, but now there are many cotton spinning.
Structural Characteristics of AB Yarn
1. The synchronous twisting in the same direction of siro spinning makes its yarn have a special structure. The surface fibers of siro spinning are arranged neatly, the yarn structure is compact, the hairiness is less, and the pilling resistance is good.
2. The siro fabric is soft and smooth compared with the ply yarn fabric.
3. Compact siro spinning can be used for woven fabrics and knits, and can also be used for high count and high density fabrics instead of plied yarn.
The initial design of siro spinning is intended for wool spinning, which is characterized by less hairiness, high strength, and good wear resistance, so as to achieve the effect that wool yarn can be woven with single yarn, and realize the lightness and thinness of wool fabric.
Among them, TC/AB yarn is polyester cotton AB yarn, and TR/AB yarn is polyester viscose AB yarn.
Treatment of AB yarn breakage
As the AB yarn is fed into the spinning drafting area by two whiskers with a certain distance, and then twisted into yarn after respectively drafting, the two strands of whiskers have the situation that one strand breaks and the other strand runs away from the single yarn, and the ends do not break when the spinning tension is stable, resulting in the wrong count yarn. To ensure the spinning quality, a siro spinning single yarn breaking device is required, which can break the other single yarn after one strand breaks.
