Bamboo cotton blend is made by mixing bamboo pulp fiber and cotton, and bamboo fiber itself cannot be spun. It must be blended with cotton yarn or other yarns before it can be spun into a finished garment yarn.
Bamboo pulp fiber has the characteristics of soft handle, bright luster, good antibacterial property, fast moisture absorption and desorption, and excellent air permeability. It also has the functions of natural antibacterial, antibacterial, acarid removal, odor prevention and ultraviolet resistance. Bamboo pulp fiber has smooth surface, no curl, poor fiber cohesion, wet strength is only about half of dry strength, and the initial modulus is small. The product has poor shape retention and body bone, so it is suitable for blending with cotton and other natural fibers or synthetic fibers.
Bamboo fiber yarn is used in clothing fabrics, towels, mattresses, bed sheets, curtains, scarves, etc. It can be blended with vinylon to produce lightweight clothing fabrics. Bamboo fiber products are fluffy and light, smooth and delicate, soft and light, with the same soft feeling as cotton, and the same smooth feeling as silk, soft and close to the skin, and good drape, giving people a degree of zero pressure.
