polyester
Polyester fiber is the modification of polyester fiber, which improves the shortcomings of polyester fiber, such as low moisture content, poor permeability, poor dyeing, easy pilling and fuzzing, and easy contamination. It is a fiber forming polymer, polyethylene terephthalate (PET), which is made from purified terephthalic acid (PTA) or dimethyl terephthalate (DMT) and ethylene glycol (EG) through esterification or transesterification and polycondensation, and is spun and post-treated.
Advantages: bright luster, shiny effect, smooth, flat and elastic; Wrinkle resistant, durable and light resistant; There is no obvious crease when the silk surface is loosened after being squeezed tightly.
Disadvantages: the luster is not soft enough, the permeability is poor, the dyeing is difficult, the melting resistance is poor, and holes are easily formed in case of soot, sparks, etc.
polyester fiber
Polyester is one of the three synthetic fibers with the simplest process and relatively cheap price. It is a kind of chemical fiber clothing fabric that is widely used in daily life. Its biggest advantage is good wrinkle resistance and shape retention. Therefore, it is suitable for making outdoor articles such as outerwear, various bags and tents.
Advantages: high strength, super elasticity, close to wool; Good heat resistance, light resistance, abrasion resistance and chemical resistance;
Disadvantages: poor dyeing property, poor melting resistance, poor moisture absorption, easy pilling and contamination.
cotton
It refers to the fabric made of cotton. Generally speaking, the moisture absorption and heat resistance of pure cotton fabric are good and comfortable to wear. Some work clothes in industries with high requirements on moisture absorption of clothing can be processed with pure cotton fabrics. For example, school uniforms in summer.
Advantages: cotton fiber has good hygroscopicity, high elasticity, heat resistance and alkali resistance, and is healthy;
Disadvantages: It is easy to wrinkle, shrink, deform, stick to wool, and is especially afraid of acid. When the cotton cloth is stained with concentrated sulfuric acid, it will burn into holes.
Silk cotton:
In a narrow sense, silk cotton refers to natural silk cotton. In a broad sense, silk cotton refers to silk cotton like fabrics, such as hollow cotton, mixed silk cotton, silk like cotton, seven hole cotton and other materials.
Silk floss comes from the floss on the surface of foot cocoon and cocoon shell. It is made by refining and processing, dissolving the sericin and pulling the fiber loose. It has good heat preservation and is often used as the padding of quilts or clothes. Silk floss is soft, warm in winter and cool in summer, has no irritating effect on the skin, can well promote sleep, antibacterial, moisture absorption and perspiration.
