As soft as velvet, this chenille yarn is the material for any tightly handcrafted product. Unlike any other type of yarn, tufting is tufted. It is naturally stain resistant, making you a luxurious piece. Each color is breathtaking. It is an ideal choice for making blankets, carpets, pillows and pet beds.
The fuzzy logic system is used to study the influence of chenille yarn count, pile length and yarn twist on the wear resistance of chenille fabrics. Chenille yarns produced on chenille machines have different counts, pile lengths and twist levels. Viscose fiber and acrylic fiber are used as pile yarn and core yarn, respectively.
The influence of core yarn characteristics, such as core yarn material type, yarn count, structure, twisting and twisting direction. The napping trend of chenille yarns in plain knitted fabrics was studied. It can be seen that chenille produced with thicker cotton yarn results in lower pile loss after abrasion compared with finer count yarns. Considering the influence of viscose fiber on the tendency of pile loss, viscose fiber is not a suitable material. Using a core yarn with the same twist direction as the chenille yarn will increase the abrasion resistance of the fabric and at the same time cause helicity problems. It has also been found that using a higher twist in the core yarn is not a remedy for the problem of pile loss in chenille yarns.
