A brief introduction to chenille yarn production

During the dyeing process, the chenille yarn can be hung freely, allowing the pile yarn to stand up, and the round yarn effect is produced after heat treatment. Due to the full contact, the chenille yarn feels better, and it is more successful than dyeing in a vertical vat.

In vertical vat dyeing, the yarn is fixed and the dye circulates in the dye vat. The dyed yarn is flat chenille yarn. And the quality is not very ideal, this is because the yarn hanging between two points is easy to produce a list.

The degree of shrinkage of the yarn during the dyeing process will affect the width of the final yarn. For example, the shrinkage of acrylic chenille yarn dyeing is within 3-5%. The effect of shrinkage can be avoided, because the fabric is woven from chenille yarn, so the effect of heat treatment during the dyeing process affects the effect of the finished product.
