16S/2 Spun Cotton Silk

16S/2 Spun Cotton Silk uses 60% Xinjiang cotton and 40% spun acrylic. We make it by ring spinning with double strands, using a spunbond skin-core structure. The yarn feels soft, warm and full, while the cotton content helps with sweat absorption and breathability. More than 200 standard colors are in stock, and custom dyeing is available.

We supply this yarn for winter sweaters, knitted garments, POLO shirts, business socks, scarves, hats, hand-woven items and home textiles. For 12GG and 14GG flat knitting, 16S/2 Spun Cotton Silk gives a warm, full fabric when the stitch density and yarn tension are set from a test swatch. It is also suitable for hand-knitted accessories and soft home textile pieces.

For 12GG or 14GG flat knitting, start with moderate feed tension and make a short sample first. Keep the yarn tension even on both sides of the machine. Too much tension can flatten the yarn and reduce the soft, fluffy hand feel. Check stitch density again after the sample has relaxed.

For finished items, wash at 30°C or below with a mild detergent. Use a gentle cycle, reshape while damp and dry flat. Avoid hot washing and high heat ironing. Before bulk production, test wash shrinkage on the actual machine, stitch setting and finishing route. 16S/2 Spun Cotton Silk should be judged after this sample wash, not only from the fresh knitted panel.
